Bridget Isichei

Bridget is a leader and advocate in the early childhood education sector. She has eclectic experience teaching, training teachers and lebridgetphoto1ading services in New Zealand, England, Thailand, Vanuatu and Australia.

In 2015 Bridget led her team to achieve the excellent rating, a distinction awarded to less than 30 of the 15,000 education and care services in Australia. Bridget has been nominated for the HESTA advancing pedagogy and practice award and has written for Australia’s most prominent early childhood education publication, Every Child Magazine. Bridget is the author of Road No Good: runner up in the Finch Memoir Prize 2016 and in bookstores from February 2017. Road No Good is a Nonfiction book about the first early childhood teachers in Vanuatu,  and about journeying into the unknown. Bridget is currently lives in NSW, Australia with her husband, two young children and two little dogs.
